Randy Baker of Naturalist Endeavors will discuss the fur trade of the Great Lakes Region during the 1700s. He will cover the interaction with Native Americans, the growth of French colonization and the conflict with Great Britain. He will also explain the importance of Michigan’s waterways and other natural resources in the development of Michigan’s fur trade.
