Care Before Crisis: Planning for Care at Every Stage of Life
Care planning is not just a “later in life” issue—and it is not only a senior issue. Adults in their 30s, 40s, 50s, and beyond are increasingly navigating caregiving for parents, protecting their own income and families, and planning for what happens if care is needed unexpectedly.

About the event
Care planning is not just a “later in life” issue—and it is not only a senior issue. Adults in their 30s, 40s, 50s, and beyond are increasingly navigating caregiving for parents, protecting their own income and families, and planning for what happens if care is needed unexpectedly. This educational seminar takes a real-world, multi-generational approach to care planning, explaining how short-term care needs often become the first point of entry into longer-term care decisions. Participants learn how Medicare fits into these situations, where coverage stops, and how families across age groups can plan ahead. Online registration is required, or you may call the Reference Desk at 313-791-3813. For adults 18 and older.
