Free Citizenship classes will be held at Caroline Kennedy Library courtesy of the International Institute of Metro Detroit  (IIMD).

• IN-PERSON CLASSES run once a week for 12 weeks.​

• Classes start on January 15, 2026, and run until April 2, 2026.

​​

•  Late admission to join the class ends on January 29, 2026. 

​​​

• Your IIMD Instructor will be Lindsay Van Loon.

This Citizenship Class will meet every Thursday at 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm at Caroline Kennedy Library (click for hours and location) in the Adult Program Room. (The first conference room on the left when you first enter the library.)​

​

 Requirements: Participants must be a Michigan Resident and must present an image of a Driver's License or official ID. 

​

 Additionally, an image of USCIS Permanent Resident (Green Card) will be required. 

​
