Ask the Man Who Owns One: A History of the Packard

Once the pinnacle of a luxury automobile company, Packard cars are now usually only seen at car shows.  Local historian, Andrew Kercher traces the history of one of the world's great car companies from a spite-filled origin to becoming the car of senators, presidents and kings.

Once the pinnacle of a luxury automobile company, Packard cars are now usually only seen at car shows.  Local historian, Andrew Kercher traces the history of one of the world's great car companies from a spite-filled origin to becoming the car of senators, presidents and kings. He will also discuss the desperate attempts to modernize and save the brand. What is the legacy of Packard? What made them so great? Are they the most beautiful thing on wheels? For adults 18 and older.
