About the event
Marney Keenan, an award-winning journalist, talks about the unsolved abduction and murder of four children from Oakland County in the mid-seventies. These murders spawned panic across southeast Michigan, triggering the most extensive manhunt in U.S. history. The case went cold for more than thirty years until 2009, when Marney broke the story about the most promising suspect ever to emerge in the case. This talk will take attendees inside the investigation of the still – unsolved murders – seen through the eyes of the lead detective in the case and the family who cracked it open – revealing a decades-long cover up that denied justice for the victims.
